For Cuba we strongly recommend that you book a room through ICSC-NAISO.

First because we have been able to negotiate very good prices for the NF 2002 delegates and transfers, if necessary, are included in the package prices. Secondly because we will be able to guarantee your room, which is not self- evident in Cuba. Double bookings are very common. Thirdly because the ratings of the hotels are not always what the hotels claim it to be. The star rating is not comparable to how this rating is used the rest of the world.

The booking of a hotel room through NAISO can be done when you register for the conference through our website. After the registration data are completed you can select a hotel and a room type also and book the accommodation you prefer. Registering will be possible soon.

For the NF 2002 delegates we have selected three hotels, which are at an acceptable distance of the conference site. We have selected a two star, a three star and a four star hotel (according to international standards).

Please note that when you book a room the through the web site, the booking will always be based on a four night package (15th - 19th January). If you wish to book a room for different dates, please select the room you wish with the four night package and send us an email after you register with the adjustments to be made in this booking. The email can be send to nf2002 with the subject 'Additional Accommodation'.

*** Hotel Plaza
An atmospheric haunt, the Plaza Hotel has a pleasant air of bustle and an attractive lobby with a fountain and streams of colored light pouring over the floor. Complimentary tea is served between 5pm and 6pm every day on the second-floor terrace, while other entertainment is provided by a karaoke bar and regular dance classes. The fifth-floor sun terrace has a good view of the Bacardi building, but alas no swimming pool. A useful service is the on-site 24-hour pharmacy and medical facilities available to any tourist. A very nice hotel practically across the street from the 'Capitolio', the conference site. It would be a 2 minute walk. It is situated I the nicest part of Havana, La Habana Vieja.
