Submission of papers can be done through our web site.
Please read the information on all kinds of submissions carefully.
The proposals for the organization of special events should not be submitted through the web site. Once the special event is approved by the Chair and the Planning Division of NAISO, the individual papers for these sessions can then be submitted through the submission web site also.
When you have entered all data at the submission site, you will see the reference number. The submission of the data has been succesful.
To finalize submitting the paper you click the email of the conference organizer on that same page and send the draft paper (minimum of 4 pages) by email. Please use the reference number in the subject line in all correspondence. You will receive a notification email of the submission when you have entered the data. Without the sending of the draft paper however, the submission is not final.
Please do not send us any hard copies.
Please inform the Chair of this conference and the Planning Division of NAISO by email if you have a proposal for one of the special events. These proposals do not have to be submitted through the internet initially. After the proposal is accepted by the Organizing Committee you will receive and official invitation for the event and all information will be put on the website under Scientific Program.
The author(s) of a keynote, plenary or tutorial speech can choose to submit their paper if the paper is to be published in the proceedings also. This is not obligatory. For the workshops and invited sessions however, please note that the proposal for this special event should be handled as described, but the submission of the individual papers for these sessions, do have to be submitted through the website as they were regular papers.
Invited Sessions
The organization of Invited Sessions is encouraged. Prospective organizers are requested to send a session proposal - consisting of 4-5 invited papers - to the General Chair and the scientific Program Chair.
Invited Sessions should preferably start with the title and the purpose of the session and a tutorial paper. The registration fee of the session organizer will be waived, if at least 4 authors of invited papers register to the conference.
Workshops
Proposals for workshops are encouraged. However, workshops should be clearly distinct from paper sessions, focussing on experimental work, hands-on experience, case studies, games, interactive exercises, and open discussions. Proposals should include a concise outline of the nature of the workshop and the expected outcome (2-3 pages).
Tutorials
Proposals for half-day tutorials (three hours) should clearly indicate the topic, background knowledge expected of the participants, objectives, time allocations for the major course topics, and the qualifications of the instructor(s).
Panels
Proposals for panels should include a concise outline of the topics to be addressed (2-3 pages) and list the panel members and their affiliations.
Contributions are welcome from researchers, academics and practitioners active in any field within scope of the congress.
